We propose three basic principles for the organization of mathematics research.
- Organize mathematics research into medium-sized collectives centred around the exploration of an ambitious and evolving research agenda.
- Intellectual credit is shared among the group as a whole. Individual members will retain credit and responsibility for communication.
- The ultimate product of each community is the development and communication of shared understanding of the research agenda.
